Thank you for your interest in counseling and welcome to New Resilience Counseling! My approach is to consider your unique needs and give attention to your values and goals for therapy. Evidence-based methods are utilized to foster self-awareness and integrate healing for improved mental well-being. During your first visit, we will work together to understand your circumstances and plan how you would like to move forward to reach your goals. Some of the techniques I use in my practice include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and techniques based in Neuropsychotherapy with a client-centered approach.
I am EMDR Certified by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and am a member of this organization at https://www.emdria.org
